Stephen Head
STEPHEN W. HEAD, MBA, CPA, CMA, CFE, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, CISSP, CBCP, MCSE, CHP, CHSS, CITP, CGMA, CPCU, has over 30 years of broad-based audit and technology experience as an IT audit manager and consultant spanning a variety of industries ranging from insurance and banking to manufacturing, energy, consumer products, and government. As a senior manager with Experis, Mr. Head provides practical, relevant guidance to Fortune 500 Internal Audit Departments, helping them meet the challenges of today's rapidly changing environment.

Mr. Head served as the managing editor for the 2011 CISA Review Manual, published by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and has written numerous test questions for the CIA, CISA, CPA, CMA, CISM, CGEIT, and CISSP examinations. He also co-authored the AICPA's Statement on Auditing Standards No. 94, The Effect of Information Technology on the Auditor's Consideration of Internal Control in a Financial Statement Audit. Mr. Head has led organizational assessments to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, GLBA, ISO 27001/2, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA regulatory requirements.

Mr. Head served as the Chair of the ISACA Standards Board from 1999 to 2001, and was responsible for publishing professional guidance followed by over 30,000 practitioners worldwide. He then served as ISACA's International Vice President from 2001 to 2002. He remains active in ISACA's publishing program. Mr. Head was also a member of the AICPA Accreditation Commission from 2001 to 2004 and a member of the AICPA Information Technology Executive Committee from 2000 to 2003. He has been prominently featured in the Journal of Accountancy and other national and international periodicals.
