Ms. Briggs has been a Senior Editor at Thomson Reuters/Tax & Accounting since 2004. Ms. Briggs is an employee benefits attorney who advised employers on ERISA and tax compliance matters for health and welfare plans for ten years before joining Thomson Reuters/Tax & Accounting. Ms. Briggs received her LL.M. in Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1993 and her J.D. degree from Cornell Law School in 1986.
