Mark Martin
Mark R. Martin is a partner in the Houston office of McDermott, Will & Emery. Mr. Martin represents multinational enterprises in international tax, transfer pricing, and tax controversy matters. Mr. Martin's international transfer pricing practice involves structuring and documenting controlled group arrangements, handling Competent Authority cases, and negotiating Advance Pricing Agreements. Mr. Martin lectures and writes extensively on transfer pricing and tax controversy issues. He is a co-author of the following Thomson Reuters treatises: (i) U.S. International Transfer Pricing, (ii) U.S. International Taxation - Practice and Procedure, and (iii) U.S. International Taxation: Agreements, Checklists and Commentary. Mr. Martin is currently Chairman of the Competent Authority and Advance Pricing Agreement Committee of the Transfer Pricing Section of the American Bar Association. He is also Chairman of the International Tax Section of the Texas State Bar. Mr. Martin was formerly an adjunct professor in the Graduate Tax Program at the University of Cincinnati. He was also an attorney advisor for Judge Carolyn Miller Parr of the United States Tax Court.
