Mike Weaver leads American Appraisal's UK practice and is chairman of the global firm's Strategic Advisory Board. He has 16 years of valuation and advisory experience, having started his career at PwC in 1995. He left PwC's Valuation and Strategy division in 2002 to start his own valuation business with a number of other senior PwC colleagues to take advantage of the continuing move towards independent advice. His business was purchased by American Appraisal in 2005. Mike is on the Committee of the Valuation Special Interest Group at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors' Business Valuation division, and is an active participant in driving the future of the valuation profession globally.
