Daniel S. Kleinberger is Professor Emeritus at William Mitchell College of Law, where for 28 years he taught courses in the law of limited liability companies, partnerships, corporations, closely held businesses, and contracts.
He received his A.B. summa cum laude from Harvard College and his J.D. from Yale Law School. He is Research Director for the Joint Editorial Board on Uniform Unincorporated Organization Acts and Reporter for the Uniform Law Conference Drafting Committee on Series of Unincorporated Business Entities.
He was the reporter and principal drafter of the Uniform Limited Partnership Act (2001) and one of the two co-reporters for and principal drafters of the Revised Uniform Limited Liability Company Act. Professor Kleinberger recently served as the principal drafter of the new official comments to the Uniform Limited Company Act, Uniform Partnership Act, and Uniform Limited Partnership Act.
