The late David Westfall was John L. Gray Professor of Law and Carl F. Schipper, Jr. Professor of Law at Harvard University Law School.

He was an Academic Fellow of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel and a member of the Boston Probate & Estate Planning Forum.
